It’s date night in London for Denzel and Pauletta Washington, who dressed up on Nov. 13 for the world premiere of “Gladiator II”, Denzel’s latest movie which is set for release on Nov. 22.

The husband and wife, married since 1983, appeared well-coordinated in stylish black and white ensembles. Pauletta Washington looked radiant in a glossy cream-colored top and an ankle-length black skirt. She also had a long black jacket with a satiny lapel draped over her shoulders and accessorized her outfit with a layered pearl necklace.
Denzel, meanwhile, looked sharp in a classic suit complete with a black tie and creased trousers. He toned down the formality of his look with a pair of dark sneakers featuring a white sole.

For her footwear, Pauletta appeared to be wearing a pair of pumps from French luxury label Christian Dior. Exuding a Parisian aura, the shoes feature a mesh upper decorated with polka dots. With a cap toe design, the tip of the shoe is darker, not allowing the toes to be seen. The shoe also features black trim along the upper, establishing a prominent outline for the style. Additionally, the mesh pump is adorned with a bow on the side displaying the J’Adior label in capital letters.
This J’adior style is also in the closet of avowed shoe-lover Celine Dion, who wore them in Paris this past summer ahead of her performance at the 2024 Olympics. Other stars who have stepped out in Dior shoes recently include Jennifer Lopez (wearing buckled boots this month) and Bella Hadid (wearing cowboy boots in September).

Earlier in the evening, Denzel and the rest of his costars met King Charles III as they attended the Royal Film Performance and Global Premiere of “Gladiator II” in Leicester Square. The Washingtons have been traveling as part of the international promotion for “Gladiator II,” Ridley Scott’s long-awaited follow up to his Best Picture Winner “Gladiator.” Denzel previously opted for sneakers at the Asian premiere for the film, held in Tokyo on Nov. 5, while Pauletta selected a pair of sleek black boots. In addition to Denzel, “Gladiator II” stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and more in-demand Hollywood actors.
